We went out to Shawnee Mission this weekend for a easter egg hunt, visit with the easter bunny, tour of a fire truck, and playing on the playground. It was so much fun but the best part was watching the girls accomplish a big goal, they BOTH made it across the monkey bars all by themselves. Layla has been working on this for a while and makes it about half way before loosing her momentum. Saturday was the big day she made it cross on her second try. Then it was all the way every time. Isa of course could not just let her sister do all the fun stuff so she was determined to learn. After about a half hour of working at it and on her final attempt..... she did it all by herself! She amazes me all the time the things she can do at four! They both had a blast hunting eggs for the 3.5 seconds before they were all claimed. And watching them wait for the start was the best, holding hands.... best mommy moment ever!

They didn't get much but the real easter bunny more then made up for that with 50+ eggs this morning!
Shannon didn't so much enjoy the bunny the second time around!
Perfect day followed by a movie with Papa, Five Guys for dinner, and free ice cream at Yogartini!
