I think after having my baby hand me a note that I can actually read the the "real" words written on it I can admit that my little Isabel is all grown up. She isn't the baby anymore. She is a big girl. Since it is her birthday I am dedicating this post to her. I am going to simply post pictures to go along with reasons why we love her so much. Some of them are sweet memories and others her special quirks that make her the dazzling little girl she is. P.S. this is in two parts because I am tired and it is late but I want to post the first part before the end of her birthday! so HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISA!!!!!
Isabel Tenay Bergstrom Born June 28th 2006 at 5 pounds and 1 ounce huge for a 8 week premature girl. And so her sweet story begins!
Isa is a fighter! She don't get sick often and when she does it doesn't last long. She fights hard to stay strong!
She doesn't miss a thing. This is Isa at two weeks. She was always this alert when she was awake. So not going to miss a thing. I mean that outfit is a preemie one and is falling off her. She was tiny but so not going to sleep through life like most newborns!
She has a tolerance for Layla that surpasses all our expectations. Layla can upset her or bug her or hurt her and she puts up with it SO WELL because she loves her sister. I mean really they have been together since this first picture the day after Isa came home just 11 days old!
She looks up to her sister. She follows Layla every where she goes and watches her to make sure she knows what to do. She depends on Layla to help keep her safe. And I love that they are so close!
She is gorgeous. She has a natural beauty. She is going to be one of those drop dead gorgeous girls who dresses like this everyday. She just throws on a pair of jean and a t-shirt and doesn't think twice about looking in the mirror and is still BEAUTIFUL!
She has the most beautiful eyes. She definitely gets those big crocodile tears that make your heart ache and then she makes your heart melt with a bat of her LONG lashes. We totally are wrapped around her finger!
Her smile, makes you smile!
Here are those tears I mentioned, so sad!
She takes things serious. This is at a stake primary activity. She is coloring her title of liberty flag and is making sure that it is just right. She has such patience for her crafts. She will spend hours on a coloring page. She don't rush her while she completes her 100 piece puzzle... i am serious she is just that patient!
End of part 1.
Part 2 to come!
